Project Your Shows Anywhere with PicoAir

Cellulon PicoAir Projector Main

Now you can watch your picture slideshows, Internet videos, and Netflix movies anywhere you want…even on your ceiling!  With Cellulon’s new innovative Pico projectors, you can get laser sharp projections from your phone or tablet on any surface.

Cellulon’s Pico projectors always remain in focus, so you never have to fuss with focusing.  Pico’s new PicoAir (for Android) and PicoPro (for iOS/Apple) projectors are the only laser-based HD Pico projectors on the market.  Their image quality and brightness is stunning.  And, you can also connect your PicoAir to some 8.1 Windows laptops wirelessly too.

You can see the picture from my phone to the projecting on the wall.  The quality is fantastic.

Display images and video on the wall, garage door, or side of your RV with remarkable HD 16:9 wide screen clarity, boasting a 80,000:1 contrast ratio and 1.67M colors (translation= awesome!).  Don’t have a projector in your office?  Wish you had a TV in your bedroom?  Would love to have a swim-in movie night?   The PicoAir/PicoPro is all you need.  The PicoAir/PicoPro can actually project up to 250 inches on any surface…that’s huge!

I have to say, the Cellulon PicoAir projector is one of the most impressive devices I have seen in a long time.  It’s stunning quality, wireless flexibility, pocketable form, scaling agility, and reasonable price makes it one of our top recommendations for families today.

Setting Up the PicoAir

The PicoAir uses Miracast to project anything on your phone to a wall or ceiling.  Miracast is built into most Android phones and tablets.  Here’s how you turn on mirroring between your phone and Miracast…

Different phones will have the Screen Mirroring or Screen Mirror in different areas.  I found Screen Mirroring under Settings>>Connections on my Samsung Note 4.

With the tripod stand that comes with the PicoAir, you can set up your PicoAir to aim towards a wall…or even up to the ceiling, like I have it configured here.

Here is the projection you first see when turning on the PicoAir projector.  It says it’s ready to connect.  By clicking on Screen Mirroring in the Settings of my phone, I will instantly see the image on my phone on the projector.  In this case, you are seeing the projection on my ceiling.

A Visit Down Memory Lane

When I visited my niece back in Oklahoma City for her college graduation, I grabbed all the photos I could find of her growing up and threw them on my SanDisk Media Drive.  Along with the Cellulon PicoAir, I was able to project these images for her on the wall and we all enjoyed priceless pictures…many of which she’d never seen before.  The experience would have been much different if we were viewing them on a tablet.  Projecting these pictures made this trip down memory lane an event rather than a hurried swiping through the pictures side by side.

Watching the pictures together as a family was an added “gift” I could bring my niece – reminding her where she’s come from as she approaches the next phase in her life.

Family Movie Night

Upgrade your family movies at home by projecting your movies to the BIG screen…on a wall, on the ceiling…or even on a garage or wall outside by the pool.  Imagine enjoying the nice Summer breeze at night while you watch your favorite movies.  How cool would that be?  Project Netflix, Amazon Prime movies, or even your forgotten home movies for a dazzling night of entertainment and family memories.

Make it a neighborhood fun night and project a movie on your garage door.  Neighbors will love a good excuse to hang out together and they will be amazed by how such a little device can project such stunning quality.

Although the PicoAir Projector includes a built-in speaker, we recommend that you use a Bluetooth speaker connected to your smartphone/tablet/Windows 8.1 laptop to enhance the sound for a larger area.

Family Technology at it's Best

A Mom’s Perspective

I cannot say enough good things about the Cellulon PicoAir.  Finally, there is an affordable projector that is easy-to-use and easy-to-travel with that families can enjoy.  The laser auto focus makes this projector hassle-free.  Sure, you can watch a movie on Netflix in the family room, and that’s still a great family fun night.  But every once in a while, it’s fun to change it up a little.

Take your PicoAir outside, drape a white sheet over something and enjoy an outside movie.  Even better, watch the movie while in the pool!  It’s memories like these your kids will remember.  Go to the park, invite some friends and have your own movie at the park night.  No need to wait for your city’s Summer movie nights!

Going into a classroom to teach kids about art?  Have a presentation to give at a meeting and you’re not sure of their set-up?  Bring your PicoAir and project off your tablet or phone.  You have all the equipment you need to be successful.  The possibilities are endless!  Tell us other ways you’d use the Cellulon PicoAir, we want to know!
