As the mom of four millennials, including two sons and two daughters who all recently started college, my children are among the first generation to grow up on personal computers and gaming.

In fact, I think back fondly to the days when each of my toddlers took turns sitting on my lap at our PC, playing fun and educational video games on the screen with me.  How they bonded with me and as they got older, with their siblings and friends over those hours of tech playtime together.

Fast forward to the present (and too fast those years did fly). Now one of my children is majoring in computer engineering, another is working on a degree in computer science, and the two others are interested in medicine or the sciences.

Thinking about all that got me thinking about how many innovations in gaming have emerged since I had four in diapers at the same time. And what a positive influence those games were to their social, motor and intellectual skills.

Now that my kids are full-fledged adults, gaming and the resulting family quality time that continues have been elevated beyond our wildest dreams.

Thanks to the latest advances in gaming gear from the Logitech G Prodigy series accessories and the huge selection of game options available on STEAM, the ultimate online game platform, there is now a whole new family of PC gaming pleasures for all ages and skill sets to enjoy – whether they’re toddlers or college students.

I would rather game with my son than bake because I am a horrible baker. Also, this way I can keep a better eye on what games he is playing

I like to do both, but they would enjoy gaming more so I would probably pick that.
