If your a mom, you probably have a few gadgets of your own that you really use.  Who can live without their phone?  But most likely ,your kids have given you their list of gadgets they would like for Christmas.  If they haven’t, check out our recommendations in The Top 10 Christmas Gadgets for Kids.   There are many gadgets out there to help make your life more fun, productive, even comfortable, as in the case of the heated inSoles we found for your shoes.  This list is an accumulation of gadgets for moms that we’ve tested or read about to help solve everyday problems you encounter as a mom.  Enjoy reading through them and tell us which ones you could really use.

Samsung Note 3

The new Samsung Note 3 is simply a marvelous phone.  It has a large 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED™, the graphics are slick.  The Note 3 offers a quad core processor, 32 GB of internal memory, and a built-in stylus!  But its software features, based on Jelly Bean Android, will really interest you.  The Note 3 features a multi-window where you can do two things at once, like read your email and have the Internet available at the same time.  This is handy because you can click a link in your email and in the other window you can see where the link takes you, without having to leave email.  You can also watch a movie and keep your messages open to text people while you watch.  So many possibilities.

The stylus is great for jotting down notes…which can be transcripted into typed notes for you!  Woohoo!  A great time saver and way to keep organized.  The S-Voice feature works great allowing for you to ask for Facebook or Foursquare, Trip-It, you name it… to be opened.  Or ask S-Voice to call someone for you, give you directions to a restaurant, whatever you need.  It has the best voice recognition we’ve seen.  This phone is packed with possibilities.

Eye-Fi Mobi

The Eye-Fi Mobi SD Card inserts into your digital camera, creating a personal “WiFi” connection so you can transfer pictures from camera to your phone, almost immediately.  So, there’s no need to go out and buy a camera that is WiFi enabled, you can use the one you already have, as long as it has a SDHC card slot, which many do.  And the beauty is, you don’t need to be connected to WiFi to share the pictures between your camera and phone.  The Eye-Fi card creates its own connection -so you can easily transfer pictures and videos even out in the forest…or at a concert…wherever.

The Eye-Fi SD card transfers a lighter copy of  your camera’s pictures and videos to your phone, so you can share them easily with through email, text, Facebook, Instragram, and more.  No longer do you have to wait until you get home and download your photos to share a moment.  The Eye-Fi Mobi is available in 16GB, 32 GB, and 64GB sizes.

ChargerLeash

ChargerLeash is a must-have accessory for your phone, especially if you travel a lot or charge your phone in public places or at friends houses.  Available for iPhones, iPod Touches, iPads, Android phones and tablets, ChargerLeash contains a built-in alarm that rings whenever you disconnect your phone from the charger.  This alarm reminds you to grab the charger as well.  Chargers are the number one item left behind in hotel rooms and are often forgotten in other places once a person unplugs their phone and begins checking messages.

ChargerLeash comes with a free downloadable app so you can set a boundary around your home.  IF you are within this boundary, the alarm will not ring, as you will be using the charger very often and hearing an alarm every time would be annoying.  Another benefit of the ChargerLeash is that if you are charging your phone in public and someone disconnects your phone when you’re not looking, the alarm will ring, alarming you and others nearby.  A simple little accessory that could save you time and money.

Dropbox – it’s free!

Dropbox isn’t a gadget per se, it’s an app, but it’s a must-have free app that should be on every gadget you own.  It allows you to store things in the cloud.  We use it to store our pictures to our Dropbox storage folders in the cloud.  Anytime any of our devices take a picture or video, they are instantly copied to our Dropbox account for safe storage and viewing.   There’s even a free software download for your computer so you can back-up your photos to your computer as well.  After setting up Dropbox on your computer and all mobile devices, any picture or video you take on these devices are automatically uploaded to your online Dropbox account as soon as it hits a connected WiFi network.  It’s that easy!  Read our article, How to Upload Pictures Easily…Without Thinking, to learn more details on how to use Dropbox.

The Lenovo All in One Flex PC is a must get PC!  We’ve seen tablets, laptops, and PC’s with all sorts of bells and whistles, but this one takes the cake.  It is a full PC with an i3 Intel Core, 500 GB storage, and 4 Mb RAM memory.  Utilizing the Windows 8 environment, you can use it either as a normal PC desktop or as a tablet.  But wait, there’s more…and this is the coolest part!  You can fold up the built-in kickstand and lay the Flex flat on the table.  This enable’s Lenovo’s proprietary Aura technology which allows multiple people at once to look and re-size pictures, gather around to watch a video, or even play games…all at once!  It’s really amazing technology and your family will love playing Air Hockey on it (up to 4 can play at once) even roulette can be played.
