Black Friday Tech Tools of the Trade

Black Friday is upon us again!  Or really, I should say Black Friday Week, as a number of companies have already rolled out their Black Friday pricing. 

Some are even offering special Black Friday deals available today for one day with another Black Friday deal offered the next day up until Black Friday.

It can be overwhelming figuring out which stores you need to be at and which deals you need to snatch up first.  As an avid Black Friday enthusiast, I never miss a Black Friday. 

In the old days, I’d wait for the special Thursday Thanksgiving paper with all the Black Friday ads.  After dinner, I’d map out my early Friday morning.

Now, there are tools to make it easier to navigate the sales and with “leaked” ad scans available on the Internet.  I can plan out my Black Friday shopping WAY ahead of Black Friday.  

Black Friday Tech Tools 

Black Friday tech makes it easier to plan your shopping.  I start with using Black Friday tech tools on my PC that work in conjunction with my Black Friday app.

There are two websites I use every year to help me make a plan of which stores I really need to go to.  

1.  BFAds.net – features the latest Black Friday ads, their take on the best deals, Cyber Monday deals, and more.  A great online resource.  Their app is helpful for reviewing the ads and looking at the hot deals.  Although the app says you can view your favorites (wishlist) from the website but I did not see them in the Android app I downloaded.  They have an Apple app too.

2.  DealsPlus.com (used to be the BlackFriday.fm website) – DealsPlus acquired BlackFriday.fm but the BlackFriday.fm Android app or Apple app did not change its name.  This is my app of choice this year because I can see my Wishlist from their website in my app, which is useful for driving around town on Black Friday.  You can also see Cyber Monday deals and the top deals for electronics across stores.

There are scores of other useful articles and sites to help with Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but these websites are reliable and take the Black Friday sales game (and ad leaks) very seriously.  

If you’re looking for the best deals on TV’s, laptops, cellphones, and more, both of these websites and their apps show you the deals across retails broken down into these categories which can be very useful.  Here are some of the TV deals.

OK, so you looked up the ads and made your shopping list.  Now you need to find out when stores open and whether they are open on Thanksgiving, Black Friday, or both.

Thankfully, you do not need to figure this out yourself, it’s already been plotted out for you.

Cyber Monday Deals

Whether you don’t want to fight the crowds during Black Thursday/Friday or you are looking for more great deals, Cyber Monday gives you the option to shop with your fingertips. 

Many of the CyberMonday ads have not posted yet (stores want to encourage you to shop the Black Friday sales first, then shop some more during Cyber Monday).  But more ads will be posted over the weekend, if not sooner.
