As I write this post I am sitting in awe after having just watched a heartwarming video of Santa, delivering a personalized message to my son.  I literally had tears in my eyes.  Now I’ve heard of receiving a phone call from Santa, and seen Santa in every mall posing for pictures, but I’ve never seen a video you can buy online with Santa talking directly to your child which includes pictures of your child.

The website where you can get your own personalized video is called PortableNorthPole.com and they all sorts of personalized items…videos, puzzles, songs, Santa calls, place mats, stickers, you name it.  Best yet, they offer a free a personalized video for your child(ren) which is incredible and not to be missed.  However, if you want to enhance it further, Portable North Pole offers more video options:

I tried both the free version and the Premium + version and for $3.99, I can tell you, it’s money well spent.  The extra pictures you add really make the video special and more endearing.  It should be noted that the video can only be accessed online or through their PNP app (iOS -$2.99, Android  – $3.01), but is not downloadable. To obtain a downloadable copy, you need to purchase the Premium ++ version with a High Quality downloadable keepsake.  The price for this is now $6.99, which is 50% off right now.

Let me show you how you can personalize a video.

First you fill out starter questions like whether your child is a boy or girl, their name, birth date, and how to pronounce their name.  When you play the sound next to the name, you will actually hear Santa saying the name.

Next, you tell Santa a little more about your child, if they go to school or stay home, what their best quality is, what criteria you’d like Santa to measure your child on (as to whether they’ve been good or bad), and what toy they are really wanting this Christmas.  He won’t name it specifically, so don’t worry if the toy your child wants is not on the list.

Then it’s time to really personalize the video.  In this free version, I uploaded 3 photos.  In the premium + versions, you also add a picture of your home and a picture of your child’s favorite animal or pet.  In the premium + videos I did for each of my children, I added their favorite stuffed animal and their presence in the video was so touching.

The Video

Since I couldn’t download the video, I’m not able to show you the video, played straight from this article.  However, you can watch the free personalized version I made for George, a toddler here.  The video starts with Santa walking through a Winter Wonderland, carved in ice by Santa’s elves.

Then Santa looks in his library for your child’s personalized book, in this case, George.

Santa opens the book and sees two of the personalized pictures I uploaded onto the Portable North Pole website, along with the captions I wrote.  He then checks to see what the elves say as to whether your child has been good or bad.  In this case, George was both naughty and nice, yet the elves deemed him on the Nice list, yet labeled “under watch”.  The video is so cute and very well thought out.

Then Santa takes your child into his secret workshop where the elves are busy at work preparing for Christmas.  Santa stops at a special present and says it’s your child’s, hinting at what it may be.  This part of the video is really magical and the little girl elf is so excited for the child to see his/her gift.  The scenes continue, including Santa with his reindeer.

A Mom’s Perspective

The Portable North Pole does a fantastic job with these personalized videos and they have way surpassed my expectations.  Their videos offer children a sneak peak of Santa’s living room, his wall of books where he and the elves keep records of every child, and a glimpse of the elf toy factory   If you’re looking to add some magic and anticipation this Christmas for your child and a keepsake that your child will watch over and over again, head on over to the Portable North Pole.  Unfortunately, if you have more than one child, you will need to create a separate video for each one, but the beauty is that is truly does become customize for each child this way.

You can also order a personalized phone call for Santa for $3.99.  The call typically lasts 2 minutes and is personalized with their name and age as well as the choice of one of 14 optional messages for Santa to say like congratulations, encouragement, on the ”watch list”, night before Christmas, birthday, etc.  Want more calls?  You can buy a value pack of 3 calls for $6.99.

So whether you head over to PortableNorthPole.com to order the free personalized video or the enhance premium video, go there, the technology is truly amazing.  And once you complete your video, it literally takes seconds for the video to be ready to play.

It is our sincere hope here, at WellConnectedMom.com, that with all the Christmas rush that surrounds us, you find some calming moments to live in the moment and enjoy the spirit and peace that Christmas brings.  Merry Christmas to you and your family.

*  I was given some codes to create two personalized premium + videos for my children as well as 2 calls from Santa.  All opinions stated and tears shed are my own.
