Bella Linea…Time for a Small Appliance Rehaul?

Remember that crockpot you received as a wedding gift?  How about your toaster, how old is it?  Do your small appliances match throughout your kitchen?  If you’re like me, you have some white appliances, some stainless steel, and perhaps some black ones.  Have you ever thought about a small kitchen appliance redesign?

The new Bella Linea Collection at Walmart offers some really great colors on small kitchen appliances at an affordable prices.  And what’s more?  They have some great handy functions that make cooking more convenient.  The above picture a majority of the product line in red, doesn’t it look great?  The Bella Linea also has a Rocket Blender, not pictured below.

Imagine the excitement in your kitchen with the beautiful blue color…or even purple?  Wow.  What I like about the Bella Linea Collection is that not only do the appliances have great color and look stylish, but they are priced at a very affordable price too.  And yet, they have modern features that make Bella Linea a great all-around great way to spruce up your kitchen.

I had the opportunity to try out the Bella Linea Collection in my kitchen and I’m loving it.  Here are a few thoughts about each appliance…

The Bella Linea Toasters

Don’t these toasters look slick?  They have a modern yet retro look to them with their beautiful chrome and metallic painted sides.  We’ve had a toaster oven for years, but I have to say, it’s fun having a toaster in the house again, especially one as good-looking as this one!  Last year, I found out that I have Celiac autoimmune disease (gluten free?  Pin with me!), which means my body attacks itself if I eat anything with gluten in it or my food comes in contact with wheat, rye, barley, malt, etc.  As a result, I rarely have gluten-free toast, as I’d have to toast it in our glutenous toaster oven.

But now, I have a gluten-free toaster!  Woohoo!

See how wide the slots are?  Easily fit in a bagel or English muffin.  Gluten Free bread tends to be 2/3rd’s the size of normal bread, but with Bella Linea’s high lift lever, it’s easy to get my bread out, I don’t have to reach in there to retrieve my toast.  Love it!

I just love the looks of the crockpot.  It has a large 5 qt. capacity, a built-in lid and spoon holder, very flexible programming, and it looks smashing!  And doesn’t food pop when placed in its black stoneware pot? Why has it taken all these years for a good-looking crockpot to come along?

Other great features include:

• Low/High/Warm settings
• 30 minute…up to 20 hours digital timer
• hinged tempered glass locking lid for no-spill transportation
• Auto-warm after timer finishes

This is my favorite crockpot so far.  I love that the lid hinges on the crockpot so you can just lift it up and use the attached spoon to serve.  It’s a one-hand operation, which is perfect when you’re in a buffet line.  And it’s great for traveling too with its lid that locks and seals the food in.  No more worries about your food spilling out of your crockpot in the car.

And the price is pretty incredible, for all this in a crockpot for $34.92 at Walmart or Walmart.com.

The Bella Linea 12-Cup Coffee Maker

The Bella Linea Collection 12-Cup Coffee Maker is another great small appliance for your kitchen.  I love the style it has with the chrome and metallic paint, reminiscent of a car of yesteryear!  And it’s very functional too.  Program your coffee maker to have your coffee fresh and waiting for you in the morning, with its 24 hour programmable timer.  Can’t wait to grab a cup while it’s still brewing? Just pause it, serve yourself a cup, and un-pause it!  Love it!  It also comes with a reusable filter basket – no more paper filter waste!

A Mom’s Perspective

I love the color the Bella Linea line brings to my kitchen, the red color really makes a statement.  It’s amazing how just upgrading my appliances gives new life to my kitchen.  Typically when you see appliances for these prices, you think they are cheaply made.  But that is not the case for Bella Linea.  They are made with metal and they are full of modern convenience features.
