Develop and Distribute Your Movies with Ease with MoviePlusX6

Have you ever attempted to put together a video to share with friends or family but the software seems daunting?  I have, over and over again.  I have worked with a few and always struggled with the initial file formats for both video and audio.  Often this very issue has a tendency to stifle the creative process.  Enter Serif MoviePlusX6*.

In preparation for this review I took a few snippets of video (with my phone) of my son jumping on the trampoline in the backyard.  I emailed the videos to my own email from my phone.   I expected to run into the same issues of incompatible file formats but I was pleasantly surprised by simply dragging and dropping the files right into MoviePlusX6 without any issues.  This is huge!  The same was true for my music.

In 15 minutes I had compiled the attached video, effects and all.  My boys think it’s a corny montage, but they think that of all my videos…

Options for visual effects are endless, more than you could ever imagine or will probably use. Hue, grayscale, diffuse, emboss, blur, color balance to name a few.  Title screens are easy to navigate and change on the fly with every font style you could want.  A trick that makes MoviePlusX6 standout is the ability to make changes to your time-line while previewing the video…and without lagging.

Also, exporting for Youtube couldn’t be easier.  Not only does it convert the file to the correct format it gives you the automation of logging into your YouTube account and uploading directly to the web through the software.  Though this is not unusual to many video editing softwares what is unusual is the speed of conversion, in MoviePlusX6 it’s lightning fast.  If exporting to DVD is more your style, don’t fear MoviePlusX6 does that as well with DVD authoring built right in.  The software is available for immediate download with a retail price of $79.99 so you can be making videos tonight.
I know, it’s a lot of “pros” to this software, but I do have one “con”.  Picture in picture, I looked high and low for the ability to include PIP but to no avail.  If it’s in the software I couldn’t find it.
If you are an amateur videographer or just a video hack (like me) then MoviePlusX6 is the perfect option to help you develop and distribute your videos with ease.  Small learning curve, intuitive controls, no need for 3rd party conversion software and professional results all in one package.
Sorry boys, with MoviePlusX6 on my computer those corny videos will be uploading nonstop.  I’ll be sure to post them on your Facebook walls, mauhwahahahahaha!
* A copy of MoviePlus X6 was given to me in exchange for my review.  As a movie editing buff, I thought it was a great opp!
