A little while ago, I told you about a fun product I found at the Consumer Electronics Show called the iKeep by Podera. The iKeep is clip that securely attaches via retractable cord to your iPhone or iPod and clips onto your belt loop, purse, or backpack. I thought it was simple brilliance. Well now, the folks at Poldera have come out with a sister product called the iKeep Charger. Same concept only the Charger has a built-in plug and is a little larger than the iKeep.
The idea of the iKeep Charger is to plug in its charger into an outlet to charge your phone, which can be out of sight in your purse or briefcase, attached by the extended retractable cord. I have done this and it works beautifully. If at a conference, it’s much easier for me to keep an eye out on my whole bag which has my phone inside charging, than just the phone itself.
Features
Color – there are lots of color options. I recommend a bright color so you’re more likely to see your phone charging and remember to get it before you leave.
30 Pin Adapter – works with Apple iPhones and iPods.
Micro USB – pull up the 30 pin adapter to reveal the micro USB plug – perfect for charging Android phones, the Kindle, BlackBerry, and Window phones.
Built-in Plug – neatly tucks in the Charger clip and can be extended when plugging into a wall outlet.
Retractable Cord – the cord retracts and holds every 3 inches, until fully extended at 12 inches. The cord and its connection to the phone is solid.
The Poldera Charger sells on Amazon.com for $39.95 with free super saver shipping. If you travel a lot or find yourself charging your phone frequently in public places, you will won’t to consider investing in an iKeep Charger to help you keep track of your charging devices. I take mine with me on all my trips for this reason. I also like the fact that the iPhone and micro USB adapters are built-in, making it extremely handy to charge my devices or those of my friends.
*I was given a Poldera Charger in exchange for my honest opinion. All opinions are my own.
