HP 3700 All-In-One Printer For Back to School!

It seems likely almost everything is electronic in our world today.  The need for a printer can seem almost obsolete.  However, with 5 kids starting school this week, I am reminded that papers still need to get printed and copies still need to get made.  The HP 3700 is not only the world’s smallest all-in-one printer, it also has many convenient features that make printing easy.  And it was one of our top 5 pics for students in our Back-to-School Gadget Guide.

HP 3700 Printing, Scanning and Copying

The HP 3700 is a compact printer, about as tall as your cell phone and won’t clog up your desk.  Don’t let it’s small size fool you, though!  This printer can hold 60 pieces of paper in the input tray and 25 in the output tray. Not only does it print quickly, it also does so quietly!

Hold on though, that’s not the only way you can scan!  I have to submit receipts for reimbursement with my employer. Previously, it had always been a pain in the behind scanning the receipts and putting them into PDF form.

Mobile Printing has Never Been Easier

Here is the part I started to geek out on.  Yes, you can still connect to the printer via the archaic printer cord, but now you can also connect through the app, WiFi Network, WiFi Direct, or remotely through an email address that is assigned to your printer! 

If you are like me, you read most of your emails on your phone and do a majority of your work via smartphone.  This mobile app has made printing possible from home, work or school. 

This week, I had an employee email me a form that needed to be printed out, signed, and returned.  I was able to forward the email with the attachment to my printer’s email address, fill out the form, take a picture of the signed document and create a PDF document all within a 5 minute time frame.  What a time saver!

A Mom’s Perspective

Before setting up the HP 3700 series printer, I honestly didn’t think that there was going to be much to get excited about.  I didn’t realize how much technology has been incorporated into desktop printers (I thought all of the technology was going into 3d printers). 

The HP 3700 series printer is easy-to-use, even easier to connect to, and makes printing a second thought.  You can now print something as soon as you think of it, instead of waiting until you get home and connected to your laptop. 

The Instant Ink technology is genius and really allows you to not have to worry about running out of ink.  This is definitely a back to school must have in our house!
