Just Look Microscope: A Closer Look At the World Around You

by Lori Cunningham

While at the Toy Fair in February, I ran across a fun little educational item called the Just Look microscope.  It’s a child palm-sized rectangular microscope with a light that allows kids to explore everyday items around them in detail…the item appears 10 times closer.

What a great learning tool for kids to really see what clothes are made of or to see the intricacies of an ant.  My kids have had a field day looking at their skin, carpet fibers, dirt, their hair, paper, and numerous other items.  It is really fascinating to see all of these things up close.

The built-in light really allows you to explore most anything.  It even has a strap to keep the Just Look microscope close at hand when children are exploring new things to investigate.

The Just Look microscope makes for a great stocking stuff this Christmas season.  It retails from Toyops retails for $9.99 but is available for $8.05 from Amazon.com, and is eligible for free shipping with a larger purchase.

* I was given a Just Look microscope in return for my honest opinion.
