Keep your Children Safe with the Fable Kids Tablet!

 WeMO Makes Home Automation Simple!(2)

The Fable kids tablet is strong and durable, even for the youngest techie.  Fable creates a safe environment where children can color, draw, read a book, take photos and share their creations.

One feature with the Fable kids tablet sticks out from its competitors is that Fable allows a parent to set up contacts for children to send their art to, thus making it a connected tablet.  However, there are no Internet browsers capable of being installed on this device.  This is a great tool for parents not ready to let their children roam on the world wide web.

Fable Features

The Fable kids tablet has a lot of features that are great for your child’s first tablet.

Sturdy Casing

The Fable kids tablet is enclosed in a sturdy case to protect it during accidental (and not so accidental!) drops.

Digital Books
Children can read or listen to a variety of stories, illustrations included.  This app is great for the early reader or for the emerging reader.

Draw and color

There are several available apps that allow children to use various digital tools (pencil, paint brush, etc) to draw their own masterpieces.  Additionally, if coloring is their forte, then there are also coloring book apps to allow children to color directly on the tablet using their fingers.  Children can also color over saved photos!

Games

VizitMe is the Fable brand app store.  Several games are pre-loaded on the device with many more available for download.  Many educational games include counting, colors, letters, and shapes.

Share

The Fable parental controls allows you to set up contact email addresses.  This allows children to send pictures of their artwork or messages to their pre-selected contacts.

Rear Facing Camera

Your child can take pictures of the world around them and save the images to the gallery.

Family Technology at it's Best

A Mom’s Perspective

The Fable kids tablet is a great starter tablet.  It targets children from 3-10.  However, in my opinion, it is geared more toward the younger side of that spectrum.  The most alluring things about this tablet are the durability and the parental controls.

My niece, who is almost 3 loved playing on this tablet.  However, my children who range in age between 8 and 14 quickly became bored with the tablet since they could not go online.

From this mom’s perspective, it is a great tool for children who play rough and can benefit from early educational games.  Giving young children the ability to share their artwork and projects with family is a fun tool that they will love!
