As a new mother, with so many options out there, choosing a baby monitor can prove to be an overwhelming task. What are the most important features? What features should I avoid?
A Non-WiFi Baby Monitor
With excellent features of safety and video quality, the Eufy Security SpaceView HD Wireless Non-WiFi Baby Monitor is an obvious choice.
My number one favorite feature of this product is that the wireless connection between the camera and the screen does NOT use WiFi.
Hearing the awful stories of other baby monitors that do use WiFi getting hacked is enough to scare any mom.
So, the fact that the SpaceView non-WiFi baby monitor does not use WiFi helps to put my mind at ease knowing that I do not have to worry about a hacker getting a hold of my monitor’s feed.
Another great highlight of the SpaceView non-WiFi baby monitor is its easy setup and overall ease of use.
The monitor is ready to go right out of the box. All I had to do was plug in the camera and display, select my language, and set the time and the unit was ready to go!
The large display offers great quality video, night vision, and even a zoom option.
An additional lens is included and may be placed onto the camera providing a wide-angle view.
The Eufy non-WiFi baby monitor’s wide-angle will be particularly handy in providing a full view of the room when my daughter is older and able to escape her crib or in a “big kid” bed and has the ability to roam around the room.
Along with HD video, the Eufy SpaceView non-WiFi baby monitor also boasts an impressively long battery life at 7 hours while on consistently and 17 hours on power saving mode.
The only possible downside I could find with this product is that the wall mount is meant to be used in a corner meaning that I am fairly limited in where I am able to install the camera.
Although the ability to pan, tilt, and zoom the camera makes the few options for wall mount placement a non-issue.
Having a separate monitor is helpful. It can go with me to any room for close monitoring and offers enhanced security that a monitor view on my phone couldn’t provide.
