Kazaana Sponsors WellConnectedMom.com for BlogHer’12

I am THRILLED to announce that Kazaana (formerly PixyKids) will be sponsoring my trip to BlogHer ’12 in NYC!  Kazaana debuts in early August (perhaps sooner, I’ll let you know!) and it is destined to be one of the best online communities for kids between the ages of 6-12.

Kazaana is a social and creativity platform where kids can create their own digital space, accessorizing their online living abode to match their personality and dreams, and share their own content with mom-approved friends.  Kids can join Kazaana  and customize their space on their own, and then, with parental consent, they can start to create and share content.  Kazaana  is COPPA compliant and kids’ safety if of their utmost concern.

Great care was taken to make the Kazaana  community graphically appealing and exciting to kids.  Even the avatars are created using a 3D rendering, similar to what you see with the Mii’s on Wii.  TheKazaana  3D avatars are the first 3D avatars to appear in any online community.  It is Kazaana ‘ desire to make their community fun and relevant to today’s tech savvy kids and user-friendly for parents.

An online community like Kazaana  gives kids the opportunity to connect with their friends and family despite their limited mobility (when Mom the taxi is off duty).  Kazaana  allows kids to add parents, grandparents, cousins, and other extended family members to their network.  Kids can send video chats to family members and friends all within the safe walls of Kazaana .  Kids will want to stay connected to family members because of the inherent fun of sending video messages and links to their latest artwork, school projects, and anything and everything special and unique to them.  Kids create their personalized digital art portfolio through the use of Kazaana ‘ interactive tools and apps.

I am grateful to Kazaana s for greatly reducing my expenses to fly from Los Angeles and stay in NYC, which can be a costly endeavor.  Kazaana  is committed to mom bloggers and it’s their desire to see mom bloggers grow with them as their online presence increases.
