We love Lenovo products….especially their YOGA products. They can rotate and transform to make working with a laptop…tablet…or even watching videos a lot easier. In fact, we recently tested out their new YOGA mouse, and it transforms into as a presentation remote as well!
The Lenovo YOGA 900S Laptop
Lenovo’s newest YOGA, the YOGA 900S laptop, is the thinnest and most lightweight laptop they make. And it looks as good on the outside as it does on the inside.
While at CES earlier this year, I was amazed at the new Lenovo 12 inch YOGA 900S laptop. At only 1/2 inch thick at 2.2 lbs., I couldn’t believe it.
Look, you can barely see the Lenovo YOGA 900S laptop, isn’t amazing? I took this picture the first time I met this great looking, super thin YOGA 900S laptop. I have had the luxury of using the Lenovo YOGA 900S for the past 3+ months. Because of its size, it’s super versatile.
It works great when you’re traveling, because with its battery, you can watch up to 10.5 hours of video – so whether you’re in tight quarters on a plane or trying to keep your kids entertained in the backseat of the car, the YOGA 900S laptop is a great traveling companion.
Its unique watchband hinge gives you the flexibility to prop it up like a tent, use it as a tablet, type with it as a laptop, or use it as a stand, giving you lots of options in your airplane seat.
Watching Videos
The Lenovo YOGA 900S laptop is perfect for watching videos. Folding the laptop to the tent mode, you get a great view of your movie. With it’s watchband hinge, there are no worries about the tent sliding down either.
My kids like to watch Youtube and Netflix on our tablets and cuddle up on the couch or bed. But a tablet needs to be held up by something in order to see it. Puting the YOGA 900S laptop in tent mode works perfectly for them.
Introducing the Type-C USB Port
The Lenovo YOGA 900S comes with two USB ports and the new USB Type-C port. Use the Type-C port to easily connect your wireless mouse, external hard drive, or even your phone to charge it to the lapop. The Type-C USB port will become the new standard for USB ports in the near future.
Exceedingly faster in transmitting data than the current USB ports, the Type-C USB will also have the future potential of being the only connector you need to link to your devices…whether Windows, Android, or Apple! Yay!
The USB Type-C can also be used for charging, outputting data from your laptop to a TV or other device, and for receiving data.
