328px) 100vw, 328px\" \/><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.getjumpstart.me\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jumpstart<\/a> is a new app recently introduced in the iTunes store that promises to help you save money by boosting your energy with proven science rather than a jolt from purchased coffee or an energy drink.<\/div>\n<div>Jumpstart is a yoga and meditation app that helps you to tap into your inner energy by following the 10-minute, 4-step jumpstart process.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Anxiety While Traveling<\/span><\/h2>\n<div>Sounds kind of far-fetched, huh? \u00a0Well, I am not a yoga participant, but I have heard many people say yoga helps to relax them. \u00a0So I figured there might very well be merit in the app&#8217;s claims.<\/div>\n<div>I have noticed recently that I tend to get anxious when going on and coming home from a trip on airplanes. \u00a0As a travel lover, I have found this odd, as I am not consciously nervous to fly. \u00a0Nonetheless, my breathing becomes more shallow, making it harder to catch a deep breath. \u00a0I feel this sometimes even when I&#8217;m home and I&#8217;m nervous about an impending deadline or feel overwhelmed.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I have often thought that if I knew how to conduct some breathing exercises, I could breathe more deeply, getting my breathing back to a normal rhythm. \u00a0So jumpstart intrigued me as a possible solution to this anxiety I have occasionally.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>To test jumpstart out right, I used it while traveling and waiting for my plane. \u00a0I decided to take my iPad out, put on my headphones, and begin jumpstart in the midst of 100&#8217;s of people all frazzled, like me, because our flights had been delayed.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>For the most part, I conducted the jumpstart exercises without anyone noticing, \u00a0But there is an exercise where you roll your tongue up like a taco and breath in through it. \u00a0If caught, it would be a bit embarrassing, but I did it anyways. \u00a0I was directed to tense every set of muscles at a time as well as a visual practice where my eyes are closed but I was to look outside my forehead.<\/div>\n<div><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10794 aligncenter\" alt=\"Jumpstart Anxiety Reducer App Breathing R\" sizes=\"(max-width: 369px) 100vw, 369px\" \/><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>After 10 minutes I was done with the jumpstart exercise and I actually found that I was much more calm. \u00a0I wasn&#8217;t 100% calm, but noticeably more relaxed than before, I&#8217;d even dare to say 80% more relaxed. \u00a0After a hurried long winding gate change, I found my anxiety building again. \u00a0Once on the plane, I jump started myself a second time and felt better. \u00a0Hmmm, this actually works!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>At the end of the exercises, jumpstart tells you how money you saved and caffeine avoided, by adding up all the sessions you have taken so far, versus getting a kickstart from drinking an energy drink or coffee. \u00a0The app helps to recharge you, giving you better focus, \u00a0Apparently, if you&#8217;re breathing more out of your right nostril it indicates restlessness whereas the left nostril indicates inertia. \u00a0The ideal is balance, which happens when both nostrils are active.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Jumpstart is available for the iPad, iPhone, and iPhone Touch for $1.99 through the <a
