In our article earlier this month, AVG Digital Protection 2014 Product Launch Event<\/a>, we mentioned that AVG has a number of helpful and productive free mobile apps for your phone. \u00a0I have already downloaded all of them and have found them to be most useful in keeping my phone free from viruses, helping to cut down on clutter that slows down my phone, saving my battery, as well as gaining better insight on Facebook and LinkedIn’s “privacy” policies.<\/p>\n

Here’s a brief description of each. \u00a0These apps are available only on Android, although there are two free iPhone apps two, which we list at the bottom of this article.<\/p>\n

Do you have any antivirus protection on your phone? \u00a0I have had multiple phones and NEVER had any mobile antivirus protection. \u00a0I’ve been fortunate to not have any malware or virus on my phones…that I know of. \u00a0However, the number of viruses and malware found each month is growing in leaps in bounds. \u00a0One of these days, I may fall victim to a virus of some sort. \u00a0This makes downloading their free mobile app, AVG AntiVirus Free for Android<\/a> a no brainer for me.<\/div>\n
