OK, admit it, how many of you have tried to use your phone as a mirror? \u00a0Perhaps you used your camera or even video camera to see if there’s something in your teeth or if your lipstick is applied correctly. \u00a0I know I’m guilty. \u00a0And every time I do it I’m disappointed. \u00a0The camera is just not strong enough to get a good view. \u00a0A friend of mine struggled with this dilemma years ago and thought if she could come up with a way to make a mirror app, she’d be rich! \u00a0I agreed with her, but still couldn’t see how the camera would be strong enough in the app to do the trick.<\/p>\n

Flash forward 3 years. \u00a0In my research of various products, I came across a company called Simply Solved, by Marcy McKenna. \u00a0McKenna is a busy mother of three whose passion is in solving everyday problems. \u00a0One of her latest inventions is the Diamond Shield. \u00a0No, it’s not an app, but a mobile screen protector that also doubles as a mirror. \u00a0This thin layer of protection is super strong. \u00a0In fact, McKenna’s company even claims that the screen protector is strong enough to withstand an electric drill! \u00a0Now that’s something I’d like to see, but I opted not to try it on my Galaxy S4!<\/p>\n
