\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Where do you charge your phone each day\/night?\u00a0 In the kitchen?\u00a0 By your bedside?\u00a0 In your office?\u00a0 What about your husband’s phone?\u00a0 Your kids’ phones\/tablets?\u00a0 Wouldn’t be nice to have once place to charge everyone’s devices?\u00a0 Typically this won’t work because there are not enough plugs.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A centralized charging station is an ideal situation for a family because it…<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I have seen solutions before for charging iPads in a business setting.\u00a0 But they are black and not very attractive.<\/p>\n However, recently, while at the Consumer Electronics Show,<\/a> I found a great solution for a centralized charging station.\u00a0 It’s made by Kanex and it’s called a Sydnee<\/a>.\u00a0 The Sydnee is a centralized charging station that can charge up to 4 devices (smartphones, tablets, cameras, e-readers, mp3 players) at one time.<\/p>\n And the Sydnee is white, which fits in well with the kitchen, and has some style to it that makes it fashioned for the home rather than for business.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Features<\/strong>:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n They Kanex Sydnee centralized charging station is ideal for any family.\u00a0 The slots work well for iPads, Android tablets, though you could also put a phone in the slots as well.\u00a0 The front side of the Sydnee has a slight ledge which works well for phones.\u00a0 You can easily put 2, maybe 3 phones here.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Pros<\/strong>:<\/p>\n Cons<\/strong>:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I have been using the Sydnee for the past 2 months and love how it cleans up my desk area from cords going everywhere.\u00a0 As I have many devices that I charge and my kids do not have phones or tablets yet, I keep the Sydnee in the office.<\/p>\n Here’s what I charge each day, typically.\u00a0 You can see our iPad, Samsung Note 8, Lenovo Yoga 8, and my Samsung Galaxy phone.\u00a0 During the day, when other devices are charged, I’ll charge my Samsung Galaxy Camera, PS Vita, or my daughter’s PlayMG.<\/a>\u00a0 I have also on occasion charged my Fitbit on the Sydnee.\u00a0 Hmmm, looks like I need a Deluxe Sydnee centralized charging station with 8 USB ports!<\/p>\n Any device you own that uses a USB port can be used with the Sydnee, such as your Kindle, Nook, small gaming system, etc..<\/p>\n Oh, and if you’re worried that your phone case or tablet case needs to be taken off to use the Sydnee, no worries.\u00a0 Sydnee was developed to work around a majority of slim cases.<\/p>\n <\/p>\nWhy a Centralized Charging Station is a Good Idea<\/span><\/h2>\n
