My children started off by creating and designing their own stables.\u00a0 There were many tutorials that they could watch and learn from.\u00a0 They chose their horse and they were able to choose the saddle, as well as other design elements.\u00a0 Users earn coins by doing various chores or winning races.\u00a0 These coins are then used to buy additional horses.\u00a0 As time goes on, you can watch the horses grow from colts to full adults.<\/p>\n

Chores<\/h3>\n

After the farm is built, the Horse Haven app requires that you keep your horse happy and keep his energy levels up.\u00a0 You do this by feeding him, brushing his mane, or by cleaning out the stable.\u00a0 To do these chores,\u00a0 you must have coins available in your bank.<\/p>\n

Earning Coins<\/h3>\n

Users earn coins by completing various races.\u00a0 You can participate in Steeplechases to collect coins and jump over hurdles.\u00a0 Coins can also be bought through an in-app purchase.<\/p>\n

Breeding<\/h3>\n

This was my daughter’s favorite part of the Horse Haven app.\u00a0 When you have enough coins, you can breed your horse.\u00a0 She enjoyed being able to see what would happen if you bread a Mustang with a Quarter horse, for example.\u00a0 You can breed your horse with other players as well.<\/p>\n
