With the advent of the Apple Watch,<\/a> companies, like Fandango<\/a>, have been creating apps to make life easier.  There is a lot of functionality already in the Fandango app, but the Apple Watch provides a way to make some of these app features more convenient.<\/p>\n

To take advantage of the free Fandango Apple Watch app,<\/a> we have highlighted the features here for you.<\/p>\n

PURCHASE TICKETS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Wouldn\u2019t it be great if you could buy tickets on your watch?  Well, you can\u2019t.  However, to make this process easier, Fandango allows Apple Watch wearers to click on a link that says \u201cBuy tickets on your phone.\u201d  This is a shortcut link that will take open up the app on your iPhone and take you to the page to buy your tickets.  Definitely a time-saver.<\/p>\n

CONFIRMATION<\/span>\"1_iWatch_confirmation\"<\/strong><\/p>\n

As soon as you buy your movie ticket using the Fandango app on your phone or from Fandango.com<\/a>, you will receive a confirmation # to use at the movie theater to pull up your movie tickets.  You\u2019ll need this for the electronic kiosk\u2019s many movie theaters have to print your tickets.  Or, simply give the number to the box office and they will give your tickets.<\/p>\n

The Fandango Apple Watch app shows you the movie time, theater phone number, theater location, and the theater’s amenities including reserved seating , dine-in options, and more right on your wrist!<\/p>\n

You bought Fandango movie tickets on your app a few days ahead to ensure there would be a seat waiting for you on opening day.  You can easily keep track of your tickets on your phone app or the Fandango.com website, but wouldn\u2019t be easier if you could just click the Fandango icon on your Apple Watch and glance at your showtimes?  The Fandango Apple Watch app makes it easy to see your showtimes rather than searching for the app on your phone to look them up.<\/p>\n

Just for some extra fun, the Apple Watch Fandango app will give you fun engaging movie trivia, including quote quizzes and fun facts…after you’ve seen the movie.  Were you paying attention?  I guess you’ll find out!<\/p>\n

Fandango is planning more fun features like being able to quickly rate a film after viewing it to help others know the value of the film.<\/p>\n

I know for me, I have over 50+ apps on my phone.  Having shortcuts on my watch would cut through the clutter on my phone and get me to the info. I need right away.  So handy!<\/p>\n
