It’s been a great year for WellConnectedMom.  We have doubled our readership and increased our reach through search engines, and social channels.  Our Mom team of Jamie Wiersma, Julie Taylor, and myself enjoy exploring different areas of family to help make family life easier.<\/p>\n

Thank you for taking the time to read our articles and\/or subscribe to our website to get the latest and most relevant gadgets for families.  WellConnectedMom was created to help Moms (and Dads!) navigate through the overwhelming availability of family tech options to find the ones that would best solve problems in their family…or at least make family life more fun.<\/p>\n

Six years later, we’re still at it!  We love what we do and are planning more great advise, reviews, and giveaways of family tech in 2016!<\/p>\n

This is one of our favorite articles – many families don’t even know how easy it is to take your favorite DVD movies and digitize them so you can access them anywhere!  Our article, How to Digitize Your DVD Library<\/a> shows you how, and it’s not expensive either.<\/div>\n

Several years ago, Walmart bought the popular VUDU, known for their streaming service to stream top and favorite movies.  But VUDU also acts as an online repository for your DVD’s too.  You can buy movies from them and put them in your VUDU library or you can use their Disc to Digital service which allows you to take your collection of DVD movies to Walmart to digitize them.  <\/div>\n

Once digitized, you can open them on any VUDU-enabled device such as the iPad\u00ae, computer, Xbox 360, Xbox One (as a downloadable app), PlayStation 3, Blu-ray player, and HDTV from the cloud.  And if downloading the VUDU program on your computer and using your DVD drive is no sweat for you, you can even digitize from home without heading to Walmart.<\/div>\n
