What are the best phone chargers?  Well, chargers are one of those items that we don’t get all excited about – waiting on pins and needles for the newest release.  However, the moment your phone starts beeping that warning sound – the “you have less than 5% battery left” – you start scrambling to find the closest charger.  With a house full of phones and tablets, our family is always fighting over chargers. <\/p>\n

There, are two common charging devices that you may be familiar with.  The first is the wall port charger, the standard way to charge your devices.  The other is a portable charger that gives you extra juice on the go. Interested in finding the best phone chargers,  <\/p>\n

I recently had the opportunity to try out the Reeljuice <\/a>portable charger and the Ventev Wall Charger,<\/a> which produces a faster charge than standard chargers.<\/p>\n

Reeljuice Portable Battery Charger<\/span><\/h3>\n

My first impression of the Reeljuice external battery charger was that is was bigger than other chargers I have had.  It was about the same size as  my phone and a little bit thicker.  However, it wasn’t too heavy or awkward to carry around.  \"reeljuice\"<\/a>Charging the power pack was easy, you can either charge via the attached USB cord, or you can remove the USB cord and charge directly with a standard micro charging cord.  I left it charging overnight to make sure it was fully charged.  After the pack is fully charged, you can remove the USB cord to remove some of the extra weight. <\/p>\n

The Reeljuice portable charger has a 4 ft retractable charging cord with a standard micro charging cord as well as a lighting adapter for your apple devices.  I found this extremely useful, since I have an android device, but my son has an iPad mini.  We are able to charge both devices without carrying around several different cords. This is an important feature in determining the best phone chargers.<\/p>\n

There are two different models available, the 3X or the 5X.  The 3X holds enough power to charge 3 phones, while the 5X holds enough power to charge 5 phones (based on the iPhone 5).  When I tested it, I wanted to see how the Reeljuice held power over multiple days. <\/p>\n

I found that with the 5X I was able to get 3 full charges over the course of 3 days without recharging the pack.  That is seriously impressive making it the best phone charger I have used with a portable form factor.  Other chargers I have bought in the past can barely get one full charge of my phone on a full battery. <\/p>\n

Additionally, the Reeljuice allows for “pass through charging” – meaning that you can charge your device while charging the external battery.<\/p>\n
