Don’t you hate it when you’re about to go out and you realize you don’t have a pocket for your cellphone? You may have room for it in your purse, but there are times when you’re running around and a purse isn’t convenient.<\/p>\n
When I took my son to the Maker Faire<\/a> in New York, I didn’t want to carry a purse. The chance of leaving it at one of the exhibits or classes we attended was too great and honestly, I didn’t want to lug my purse along. I knew I would be toting around a lot of our handmade projects already.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Right before I left for New York, Allison Santini, the inventor and founder of MyPhonePouch<\/a>, sent me a MyPhonePouch to try. It’s quite clever. MyPhonePouch a patent-pending cellphone holder that gives you extra pockets and works with almost any pants, leggings, sweats, shorts, jeans, skirts you wear.<\/p>\n MyPhonePouch is a soft, stretchy pouch comprised of multiple pockets to carry your cellphone, credit cards, driver’s license, hotel key, subway cards, and more. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Simply by tucking the back half of the MyPhonePouch in your waistband and placing your cellphone in one of its front pockets.<\/p>\n The back half consists of 3 pockets, 2 of which are snappable, and a counter-weight that balances out the weight of your cellphone in one three front pouches.<\/p>\n The pouch fits nicely in my waistband with no discomfort and I can reach my cellphone easily at any time. No more leaving it on the table during lunch or worrying whether someone will pickpocket my cellphone from my back pocket.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The MyPhonePouch was designed by a woman with women in mind. Most of today’s phone holsters are bulky, black, and designed for ease of use for men. MyPhonePouch does not need a belt to attach securely on your waistband, although it does need a sturdy waistband.<\/p>\n It’s made with a stretchy yoga pant type material – so the MyPhonePouch is sturdy yet flexible. You do not feel the 4.25-ounce stainless steel counter-balance directly and it can be removed to easily clean your MyPhonePouch in the washing machine.<\/p>\n I like that it has two snapped pockets. I use them to carry my driver’s license and cash, for extra insurance that they do not fall out.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The MyPhonePouch comes in a variety of sizes:<\/strong><\/p>\n SMALL<\/strong> – Fits the iPhone 5 and similarly sized small phones with a case<\/p>\n SMALL SLIM<\/strong> – Just a bit narrower, fits the iPhone 5, flip phones and similarly sized small phones with no case <\/p>\n MEDIUM<\/strong> – Fits the iPhone 6, 7, 8, X, Pixel 2, Galaxy 7, 8 and other similarly sized phones with a smooth, slim case. If you have an iPhone X or plus-sized phone without a case, the Medium size provides a snug fit<\/p>\n MEDIUM SLIM –<\/strong> Just a smidge narrower, fits the iPhone 6, 7, 8, Pixel 2, Galaxy 7, 8 and other similarly sized phones with no case <\/p>\n LARGE<\/strong> – Fits the iPhone Plus series phones (including the new XsMax), larger Samsung phones, and other similarly sized plus-size phones with a smooth, slim case. Also works for smaller phones with a thicker, bulkier case<\/p>\n LARGE-SLIM<\/strong> – Just smidge narrower than size Large, this size is for iPhone X with a thicker case and other larger phones that have an ultra slim case.<\/p>\n LARGE WIDE –<\/strong> Just a smidge wider than size Large, it is the largest size and fits the larger plus series phones that have smooth cases that aren’t exactly slim<\/p>\n<\/div>\n As I have a Samsung Note 8<\/a>, I tried the Large size. I do have a rubberized case on my Note 8, so I do have a little trouble at times getting it in or out of the pouch. If it had no case, it would have slid out like a champ.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I loved the freedom the MyPhonePouch gives me. It carries my phone, credit card, cash, driver’s license, and lipstick without touting around a purse.
