The Altec BoomJacket Jolt can really belt out the tunes.  Great bass and high notes sound from its little speakers. <\/div>\n

I can see why both Boom and Jolt are in its name!  We tried everything from jazz to rap to today’s popular tunes, the BoomJacket Jolt did well with all sound types.<\/div>\n

Yes, the BoomJacket Jolt has an IP67 “everything proof” rating.  It can be submerged in water.  We even tested it in our pool. <\/div>\n

There is a flap on the side that you need to ensure is fully closed before you try it out in the water.  We made sure it was closed and popped the baby boombox in the water.<\/div>\n

After submerging bhe baby boombox for a few minutes and taking it out, I did notice water had gotten in there. Fortunately, it continued working great.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Although the Altec BoomJacket Jolt is not hefty, it is sturdy and will not be easily moved from the bass beat of the music. <\/div>\n

Fortunately, however, it doesn’t sink either.  It floats on the top of the water.<\/div>\n

I could still hear the music in the water, though, it wasn’t the best sound.  I think it’s better suited outside the pool.  And if it gets drenched when someone cannonballs into the pool, no worries, it will be fine.<\/div>\n
