Wow! \u00a0Let me cut to the chase by just saying, if you like Disneyland and\/or the Magic Kingdom at Disney World and you have a XBOX 360 with Kinect, you’ve got to get Disneyland Adventures. \u00a0I grew up just 25 minutes away from Disneyland, I pretty much lived there. \u00a0I know how to get around Disneyland like the back of my hand.<\/p>\n

You might remember that I wrote about seeing\u00a0Disneyland\u00a0Adventures \u00a0at E3<\/a>,\u00a0BlogHer<\/a>, and Disney’s D23 Expo<\/a>, but seeing the finished product is even better than I could have anticipated.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

When I first started this game, it looks so much like Disneyland, I couldn’t wait to explore. \u00a0 \u00a0First you can choose your character, hair color, and clothes. \u00a0Two people can play at once, but one person is the leader and directs the path both children take.<\/p>\n

The entrance into Disneyland and Main Street are a treat. \u00a0Here you get to meet the big stars like Mickey, Daffy Duck, Goofy, Minnie Mouse, and more.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Mickey gives you an autograph book so you can go around to the various characters and ask for their autographs. \u00a0You can also earn virtual Disney pins to add to your collection.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The Kinect platform is truly fantastic. \u00a0You can raise your hands up to hug, high-five them, and even take pictures of your favorite characters.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Disneyland Adventures does not incorporate the entire park in the game, but many of the rides, attractions, and building\u00a0facades\u00a0are easily identifiable. \u00a0You can easily walk around the park yourself or jump right to certain “lands” of Disneyland. \u00a0I found that I knew exactly where to walk as the game path is the same as in Disneyland.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>On to the Rides!<\/p>\n

There are over 20 familiar rides to check out at Disneyland Adventures. \u00a0They look similar on the outside, but once inside, the ride is very different. \u00a0Rides keep the theme of the actual ride at Disneyland, however, they incorporate some very fun scenes and scenarios that make game play more exciting. \u00a0For example, for Small World, you row a boat across the waters of the world and learn dance moves of different cultures.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>On the Matterhorn ride, you ride a bobsled and follow Goofy while maneuvering to collect coins and avoiding obstacles and snowballs thrown by the\u00a0Abominable\u00a0snowman’s buddies. This game is a lot of fun.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

At any time you can raise your hand up and see a map of Disneyland. \u00a0Here you can easily jump to the various rides at Disneyland. \u00a0If only you could do that at the real Disneyland!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I love the detail put into Disneyland Adventures. \u00a0As I walked along Main Street towards the castle, I had to run around people or they would stop me from moving. \u00a0I went up to a mother and her son sitting on a bench. \u00a0Although I could not interact with them, I heard the son telling his mom the old familiar cry, “I’m hungry!” \u00a0LOL! \u00a0As I ran by other guests, I heard them talking to each other as well. \u00a0Too cool!<\/p>\n

After each game, you get to some of your funny moves and poses during the ride. \u00a0Kids will love this.<\/p>\n
