As I mentioned in my last article, the Tria laser has the option to turn up the effectiveness of the laser or lower it, dependent upon what you can tolerate. \u00a0The range goes from 1 to 5. \u00a0The higher the level, the more pain you might feel, but the faster for your\u00a0permanent\u00a0hair loss to happen. \u00a0I have found that I can tolerate level 4 pretty well (I have worked up to this level) and my husband started at level 1 (his hair is much more dense), although the last time I upped him to level 2 and he seemed to take it well. My Learning’s Thus Far:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. As you can tolerate, increase the level higher on the laser during the six months so you can increase your effectiveness. \u00a0I believe with each treatment your tolerance increases.<\/li>\n
  2. Ensure you have as clean a shave as possible, otherwise you will feel a burning sensation as the heat travels down your hair to the follicle.<\/li>\n
  3. The laser tends to hurt a bit more when the hair you’re removing is condensed, meaning very hairy.<\/li>\n
  4. It does not take as long as I thought it would take to use the laser on your underarms and legs.<\/li>\n
  5. The laser does not work on blond hair, even if it sits alongside your darker hairs, as in the case of my legs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \"\"The hair on my legs is rather sparse so it’s hard to measure the results. \u00a0\u00a0Plus, I missed a laser treatment, so my progress will be slower on my legs. \u00a0This picture shows hair growth two weeks after using the laser for the second time. \u00a0 However, judging from the hair under my arms, it definitely looks like the amount of hair has reduced by as much as 30% already! \u00a0Yeah! \u00a0This is really working!<\/p>\n
