New Mom, New Worries
Never have I been more worried than I was when I brought my sweet baby girl home from the hospital.
Of course, it is an incredibly exciting time, but with this being my first baby, I had no clue what I was doing.
I read the books and I received advice from the moms I trust most but I was still nervous about every little thing.
It’s my job to keep this baby alive and happy and keeping track of all the little details can be completely overwhelming, especially during the newborn phase.
I entered motherhood fully expecting to exclusively breastfeed my baby but when her weight dropped quite a bit from her birth weight, the pediatrician suggested I supplement with formula.
This brought on a whole new set of worries – am I feeding her enough, is the milk too hot, and have I left this formula out too long?
A Baby Feeding Monitor
Luckily, I started using a feeding monitor called the BlueSmart Mia 2 and its baby feeding tracking app that keeps track of these things for me and makes my baby’s feedings stress-free.
The BlueSmart Mia 2 is a food-grade, FDA-approved silicone, bottle sleeve (that fits most various sized bottles).
It is dishwasher safe and keeps track of many things so you don’t have to.
The BlueSmart Mia 2 tacks the amount of formula or breast milk your baby consumes, the milk’s temperature, feeding duration, and even gives expiration notifications if milk has been left out too long.
After feeding, place the BlueSmart Mia on the indicator puck. The indicator puck uses embedded smart technology and color sensors to track these factors with high precision. It then sends the feeding information to the app.
This handy gadget and the baby feeding tracking app reassures me that my baby gets enough to eat and keep records, making it incredibly easy to relay feeding information to the pediatrician at my daughter’s check-ups.
The indicator puck is wireless and can be moved wherever you need it through the house.
To charge it, simply place it on the accompanying wireless charging plate, which uses the latest USB-C charging cord to charge its battery when needed.
This means you can take the BlueSmart Mia Feeding Monitor with you on the go and still have the ability to charge it wirelessly.
The Best Baby Feeding Tracking App
The BlueSmart Mia 2 Baby Feeding Monitor has Bluetooth capability that allows the information from the feeding tracker to sync onto the BlueSmart app.
The app is really, the best baby feeding tracking app ever! It especially a lifesaver in the earliest weeks of my daughter’s life. I can also use the app to log diaper changes, nursing duration, and sleep.
These BlueSMart Mia 2 logs are super helpful in keeping track of everything when your sleep-deprived mom-brain can’t remember the last time you fed the baby.
The app keeps all the details organized and accessible at the most hectic time of my life.
When the pediatrician asked how many wet and dirty diapers my daughter had in a given day, I had an exact answer for her.
Without the log from the BlueSmart app, I would have only been able to give her a rough guess.
As I mentioned previously, I am also breastfeeding. What I love about the BlueSmart app is that is tracks everything, including notes I want to take about my breastfeeding schedule.
I feel that this app really helps me get a clearer picture of all baby feeding I give my baby.
It’s the best baby feeding tracking app, due to helpful information from the BlueSmart Mia2 Baby Feeding Monitor!
