The Ultimate Baby Diaper Backpack

by Melanie Hudson

In my hunt for the perfect diaper bag, I was immediately attracted to the designer handbag diaper bags. You know, the kind that looks more like a purse than a tote for all things baby?

While I was caught up in how cute these bags were, at the time I did not realize that I was sacrificing function for style.

The large bucket style bag was lacking the pockets and organization I needed to make finding items easier when I’m on the go.

When I received the Ethan & Emma Mommy diaper backpack, I was most excited about the bag’s 20 pockets that leave plenty of room for all my baby gear and tech.

A large number of pockets allow for everything to have its place and I am able to find what I need quickly when I am out and about.

I can carry my wallet,  breast pump, diapers, bottles, and all my other baby gear while still having plenty of room left for all my gadgets in the diaper backpack.

Because I like to carry some of my favorite gadgets, it is a huge plus that the back pocket is a padded laptop compartment that is large enough to hold my laptop, iPad, kindle, and their chargers.

I love that the Ethan & Emma Mommy diaper backpack has enough space for everything I need to carry while still remaining compact.

The compact design of the bag makes it so it doesn’t get in the way of my daily activities, and because it is a backpack, it keeps my hands free, unlike those bulky over-the-shoulder diaper bags.

The backpack style of the bag also saves my shoulders compared to the tote bags that can get pretty heavy for just one shoulder once adding all my gear and gadgets.

The fact that the diaper backpack is super lightweight saves my shoulders when I have the bag jam-packed with all things baby.

Among my other favorite features of the Ethan & Emma diaper backpack are the removable stroller straps, side pocket wipe dispenser, included diaper pad, the easy-to-clean nylon material, and removable wet bag.

To top it all off, the simple design and neutral color of the bag makes it so that my husband is more than happy to take a turn carrying the bag.

A Mom Perspective

This bag really does have it all. The included changing pad is a lifesaver on the go and its wipeable surface makes cleaning up those inevitable messes a breeze.

The gold hardware gives the bag an extra pop and level of sophistication that many competitors bags lack.

Another favorite is the stroller straps that let me easily attach the bag to my stroller handle and give my back a much-needed break.

Of course, my favorite feature of the Mommy Bag is the padded laptop pocket that protects my tech while the bag accompanies me pretty much everywhere I go.
