A Kitchen Assistant for Busy Moms

Let’s face it, life is hectic. Moms could use help to keep things straight. The Google Nest Hub is the ultimate kitchen assistant to help with family life.

Forgetful Frenzy

As a stay-at-home mom the days speed by and even with my busy schedule I somehow frequently manage to forget what day it is.

My best example of this is that fact that a month ago I missed my daughter’s six-month doctor appointment.

The appointment had been written in my planner for months and I still managed to completely forget about it.

I felt like such a scatter-brained zombie mom and realized my regular paper planner wasn’t working for me.

Voice Controlled Kitchen Assistant

That’s where the Google Nest Hub stepped in and saved the day, helping to keep this mom-brain sane.

The Google Nest Hub is my kitchen assistant that helps me to keep my daily activities organized and gives me reminders when I have an event coming up.

Being able to set continuous reminders means no more missed doctor’s appointments. And the best part is I can just say “Hey Google” and tell the Google Assistant to set reminders without ever lifting a finger.

One of the most exciting features of the Google Nest Hub is that I can search and display recipes on the screen.

While I am reading a recipe I can tell the Google Assistant to add items to my shopping list that will show up on my phone to access while I am grocery shopping through the Google Home app.

 It’s the ultimate kitchen assistant!

Not only do I use the Google Nest Hub to search and display recipes as I am cooking but I also use it as a timer.

The ability to set multiple timers at once makes managing those more complex recipes a breeze.

But this kitchen assistant as the capability to go beyond the kitchen.

You can pair the Google Nest Hub with your connected home devices through the Google Home app is another of my favorite features.

Through the Google Assistant, I am able to change the temperature of my home and the channel of the TV with my voice.

Ten years ago having a virtual assistant at your beck and call was just a fragment of imagination only seen in futuristic films.

It is so neat that not only having your very own virtual assistant is attainable but affordable as well.

At only $129 you have your very own voice controlled kitchen assistant to

    • show you the time
    • find and display recipes
    • keep your schedule
    • tell you the weather
    • your commute time
    • set a timer
    • making a shopping list
    • change the temperature on your smart  thermostat
    • find YouTube videos
    • play music
    • change your smart television channel
    • integrate with Nest cameras to show who’s at the front door
    • and so much more!
