Lume Cube Your Videos, Pictures, and Video Conferencing

The Lume Cube Air is a small gadget, weighing a mere 2 ounces, and designed to shine a bright light wherever you need it.  In fact, it can get brighter with up to four intensities.  It is the smallest and lightest one of its kind on the market.

The Lume Cube can be purchased separately or as a part of kits.  We looked at the Lume Cube Air VC Lighting Kit for Video Conferencing for improved lighting with video conferencing, streaming live content, and even adding more light on the pictures we take.

Because the Lume Cube is so bright, I found the two diffusers that come with the kit very helpful.  Diffusers are put over the LED light to soften the light and possibly add a warmth in color.

The video conferencing kit came with a White Softening Diffuser and a Warming Diffuser.

Simply snap a diffuser over the LED light and you immediately can see the difference in the light.  Use the white one for a brighter look and the orangish one for more of a warmer effect.

Lume Cube Uses

Video conferencing

Don’t you hate it when you are on a video conference and it’s hard to see someone because they seem to be in the shadows?

Or perhaps you’re the one lost in the shadows!  I have lights that come from the ceiling, so I tend to have shadows cast against my face.

Since you can’t be there in person, proper lighting helps you put your best foot forward, per se.  The Lume Cube puts light on the subject…you!  Use the warming diffuser for warmer looking light and shine!

Creating Live Content

I hate making videos inside convention centers and in meetings because they always turn out looking so dark.

Simply hook the Lume Cube onto your suction cup and suction it to your phone or tablet and you’re ready to film with fantastic lighting.  You never looked so good!

You can also attach Lume Cube to your video camera for quick fast light.

Taking Pictures

It is often hard to get the best lighting on products I’m taking pictures of.  As all of our lighting in our home comes from the ceiling, it’s diffused but casts shadows from my hands and camera.

I love using the Lube Cube to add some light on the subject.  My pictures turn out so much better with proper lighting.  Attach to your phone or DSLR camera for immediate light.

Creating Light Under Water

Since the Lume Cube is waterproof, up to 30 feet, you can actually take it in the water with you – whether shooting pictures underwater or just playing with it in a darkened pool.

Instead of a Flashlight Around the House

I also use the Lume Cube as a small handy flashlight – but with fiercer lighting than traditional flashlights.

We have a rack where we store our audio-visual consoles. With its magnetic back, I can click it onto the metal rack to try to assess what isn’t working.

I can click it onto the metal door of our fuse box when I need a quick light to determine which switch got tripped.

Have a room or closet with poor lighting?  The Lume Cube lights it up!

Perfect for seeing what’s under your son’s bed…if you dare!

Finding things in a backpack or purse

We all know that purses are a black hole!  Now you can quickly illuminate it to find what you are looking for.  Great for backpacks too.

Since it’s lightweight, you can keep it in your purse for finding things or snap it onto your phone or camera for Face Time, Skype, Zoom, Google Duo, and live streaming.

A Mom’s Perspective

A Lume  Cube is a must-have for any photographer, videographer, or video conferencer.  It’s lightweight and compact, you can easily take it anywhere with a long-lasting battery, dependent upon the setting you use.

I love the flexibility of it.  Yes, it’s great for video conferencing, but if you’re going out at night, just slip it in your purse or pocket…just in case you need it.

I could have used it one night earlier this week when a bunch of friends and our family were treated to a suite at the Clippers game in LA.

We hooped it up, talked, and enjoyed the game together in the serenity of our box seat suite.  It was an experience we will never forget.

At the end of the night, we wanted to take a picture of all of us together, with the basketball game going on behind us.

Of course, our faces turned out dark in the pictures because it was very bright behind us.  Had I brought my Lume Cube, all of our faces would have shined.

The Lume Cube is small enough, it takes up little room to bring along.

I definitely plan on taking it with me to CES next year.  The lighting is always terrible and having a power light source separate from my phone and camera gives me better flexibility as to where shadows are cast and brightness intensifies.

I will also be taking this handy little cube with me on vacations for the perfect shots!

The Lume Cube Air VC Lighting Kit for Video Conferencing gives you the flexibility and convenience to add lighting precisely where you need it to make you and your photography/videography shine.
