Shine Your Jewelry and Sanitize Your Child’s Pacifier with This!

When I first received the Sienna TrioShine 3 In 1 Jewelry Cleaner and Sanitizer I thought, wow, that’s a big box.  Weighing in at 8.5 lbs.

I wasn’t quite sure where to put it.  But let me tell you, after putting my wedding ring in the ultrasonic bath, pressing the start button, and watching what happened after 3 seconds, I was amazed.

Small little clouds of “smoke” encompassed my ring as it was gently shaken 46,000 times a second!  The clouds kept emerging, I was absolutely speechless as I watched my ring get cleaned.

I have used liquid jewelry cleaner with the little brush off and on over the years and my ring looked nice.  But the Sienna TrioShine 3 In 1 Jewelry Cleaner and Sanitizer made my ring look brand new.

Sienna TrioShine 3 In 1 Jewelry Cleaner and Sanitizer

So the Sienna TrioShine does exactly what its name implies, it can clean your jewelry (and other items) in three different ways.

  • 1.  ULTRASONIC BATH – The ultrasonic bath uses only plain water and 46,000 sonic vibrations per second to help jar loose lotion, tarnish, oils, makeup, sprays, and other substances.

Its reservoir holds 11 fl. oz and requires no harsh cleaning solutions to remove built-in grime.  It is big enough to hold necklaces and bracelets as well.

  • 2.  HIGH-PRESSURE STEAM CLEANING – place plain water into the 11 oz. steam cleaner reservoir to project a 55 PSI professional grade of sanitizing steam to blow out any residue or buildup hidden in your jewelry, watchbands, or other items.

It takes 60 seconds for the pressure to build up and then you can heat steam several items.  Sienna includes professional long-nosed tweezers and tongs to help your fingers from getting burned.

  • 3.  ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT SANITIZATION– If the first two cleaners weren’t enough, Sienna added its ultrasonic light sanitizer to destroy 99.9% of harmful bacteria that forms on jewelry, baby toys, pacifiers, bottle nipples toothbrushes, mouth guards, retainers, eyeglasses, and more.  It contains 3 built-in hooks to hang earrings or rings to as well.

It can even get the germs off of your phone and phone case!  Weekly sanitation is recommended for dental and baby products.

It’s the same type of industrial UV cleaning used at medical offices, labs, restaurants, and more.

The UV Light provides continuous light for 30 minutes to ensure it covers the entire surface and all crevices.

It needs this much time to ensure it kills 99.9% of all germs, viruses, and bacteria including Staph, Salmonella, and E. Coli.  It turns off automatically after 30 minutes.

So, What Can You Clean?

At my book club, I gave my friends the opportunity to clean their wedding rings.  We all stood around amazed as the cloud of “smoke” appeared around their rings.

One of my friends was really disappointed because she just left her ring with the jewelers for a professional clean.  The cost?  $80!  Ugh!

Their rings looked beautiful.  We decided they should bring back more jewelry next time and we’ll discuss our book and clean at the same time.  Women are such great multitaskers!

I cleaned a number of different pieces of jewelry.  I found that the TrioShine works fantastically on jewels, rings, and gold necklaces.  They look stunning.

What Can’t You Clean?

You can’t clean anything that won’t fit into the compartments.  There are also some restrictions on the types of jewels and jewelry you can clean, as some gems (e.g. turquoise, coral, pearls) are more fragile.

But Sienna provides a stone cleaning guide to help you assess which type of cleaning will work best for your jewelry as well as let you know what types of gems or jewelry are not right for TrioShine altogether.

What about Sterling silver…can it clean tarnished jewelry and utensils?  Although it did clean up my tarnished Sterling silver necklaces, I still need to use a tarnish remover to rid of the remaining residue.

Granted, I haven’t cleaned these necklaces in 10+ years, I imagine once I use a remover to remove the tarnish, I can keep them cleaner longer with the TrioShine.

Professional Cleaning

You can definitely get the same type of clean (if not better) than you can expect at your local jewelry store…and for much less money over time.

The biggest risk about dropping your ring off at the jewelry store for cleaning is the nagging concern, “will I receive back the same diamond I dropped off.”

Nowadays, it can cost anywhere from $20 to $60 to have your ring professionally cleaned.  Jewelers use machines similar to the TrioShine.  The difference?  You’ll take better care of cleaning your ring than they well.

Jewelers recommend cleaning your ring every two weeks and giving it a professional cleaning every six months or so.  Now you can take care of all of this on your own.

A Mom’s Perspective

When I saw that cloud of “smoke” around my diamond ring when I first put it into the ultrasonic bath, it blew me away.

My ring had collected a bunch of gunk and once it was cleaned off, the diamond sparkled as clear and brilliantly as the day I received it.

TrioShine really cleaned up my rhinestone and colored glass necklaces too, they look stunning.  I keep the TrioShine in my bathroom so I can easily freshen up some jewelry or sanitize my electric toothbrush head, mouthguard, makeup brushes, and Luna.

As I am getting ready in the morning I can drop my jewelry in the ultrasonic bath or anything in the ultraviolet chamber for cleaning.  I love how handy it is.

Somewhere, I have some of my mom and grandmother’s old jewelry.  Once I find it again, I am going to give their treasures a bath, offering them new life again.

The Sienna TrioShine 3 In 1 Jewelry Cleaner and Sanitizer is a handy device to keep your jewelry sparkling and your baby’s binkie germ-free…well, at least until s/he drops it again!
