Christmas time is a very busy time of year.  There’s shopping to do, Christmas cards to write, Christmas mailing lists to put together, parties to go to, kid events not to miss, decorating to do, menu plans and recipe items to gather, even travel plans for some.  How do you keep all of this in order and still care for your family and work too?

Springpad.com and it’s phone app are the answer to help you organize this Christmas season and keep your plan and ToDo list close at hand.  I first used SpringPad at Thanksgiving.  I found a bunch of recipes that looked tantalizing and saved them in my Thankful For Thanksgiving notebook.  Not only was it a delight to see, Springpad actually formulated a shopping list from the recipe and even showed price alerts where certain items in the recipe like evaporated milk, chocolate chips, pie crust, etc. was on sale at that time.  I was blown away. How cool is that?

So this Christmas, not only can you use Sprinpad to collect all of those delicious recipes you’d like to prepare (and have it create a combined shopping list for you), but it’s a great repository for gifts you’d like to buy for your kids, your husband, friends, even yourself.  We put together a gift wishlist for adults:  Christmas Tech Wishlist 2012 and one for kids: 2012 Kids Christmas Tech.  See pictures below for a snapshot of them.  As your searching online, you can clip the pictures of the items you want to put into your notebook by using the Web Clipper, similar to the “Pin It” button on Pinterest.  You can also add a ToDo list, other pictures you have from your computer, bookmarks of webpages you like, pictures of items from the store uploaded through your Springpad app, and much more.

To make shopping or your wishlist more fun, Sprinpad teamed up with Wayfair to help make it easier to decorate your house in Christmas style or find gifts.  In fact, between now and December 18th, if you create a gift list or your own wish list on Springpad and tag it with #Holidays2012, you will be registered to win a $500 Wayfair shopping spree!
