Cyber Monday Electronics Deals

What’s better than Black Friday?  How about Cyber Monday…especially one that starts two days earlier…on Saturday!  Now you don’t have to wait until Monday, Dec. 2nd, anymore to get the best online Cyber Monday electronics deals, well, at least if you shop at Walmart.com.  Walmart.com has announced that their Cyber Monday sale starts on Saturday, November 30th, this year with 200 online specials available everyday through Friday, Dec. 6th.  Cyber Monday is known for its electronic deals and Walmart.com does not disappoint.

Walmart.com will also be offering more than just Cyber Monday electronics deals.  They will also offer non-electronic items like clothes, toys, and more.  According to Joel Anderson, president and CEO of Walmart, “more than two-thirds of people who plan to shop in our stores on Black Friday also plan to shop Cyber Monday.”  Ah shucks, I thought it was only me.  I guess there’s more Cyber Monday competition out there than I thought!

• Free Shipping – is now available with order of $35 (last year the minimum was $50) on nearly all Walmart.com items
• Faster Shipping – you can upgrade to a faster 3-5 day option for only $2.97, with most orders arriving in 3 days or less…without a subscription fee
• Door or Store – it’s up to you to specify where you’d like your purchases delivered.  Perhaps you have too many spying eyes at home and prefer the store for pick-up
• Early Access – download the Walmart App today, subscribe to Walmart.com via email, or follow Walmart on Facebook to be among the first to receive invites to an early shopping event on Sunday, Dec. 1st, featuring up to 20 of the best Cyber Monday items (while supplies last)

A Mom’s Perspective

I love Black Friday, I have been getting up at 3:45am for years now to scout out my best buys.  But my Dad always said, “work smart, not hard.”  And I have been finding this year that shopping online has been a lot easier than getting up early.  In fact, today, on Thanksgiving, I pulled up Walmart.com to see what Black Friday specials they had available now.  I picked up some electric scooters, some jeans for my son, and a nice velour jacket for my daughter (in her favorite color), all before I started cooking our turkey.  And you know what?  I don’t have to go at 6pm tonight when the lines of people to fight for these items in store.

So here’s the deal.  Go ahead and shop the Black Friday sales if that’s your thing (I’ll still be doing it!), but if you don’t quite get the gadgets you were hoping for, don’t worry.  They will likely be featured in the Cyber Monday electronic deals sales going on.  And don’t forget, Walmart is starting their Cyber Monday sales early this year…on Saturday, Nov. 30th.  So be ready and hit your computer first thing when you wake up on Saturday morning.  As you can see, they have some great bargains planned and a lot more than we covered here.
